In Color Club Bookmark for 2014

Hi Stampers!

Every year when my customers sign up for In Color Club, I always make a special bookmark for them which features the 5 new In Colors for that year.  This year was no exception!  In addition to getting to play with the new In Colors, I also had some fun creating a cute little tassel with the brand new thick Baker's Twine.  This new baker's twin is awesome.  You are going to love using it all on kinds of projects.

To create the tassel I used one length of baker's twine and I kept folding it in half until I had several loops.  Then I put one end through the hole at the top of the bookmark and tied them in a bundle with another piece of bakers twine.  Finally, I cut all of the loops so that I had lots of loose ends!

Travel Themed Bookmark Card

Hi Stampers!

Today I have a fun type of card to share with you.  It's a book mark card!  Yes, you can pull the focal piece out of the pocket and use it as a book mark.  I also made the card travel themed because everyone loves to read while on vacation.  What better way to wish a friend Bon Voyage?

Here's a close up of the bookmark.  I made the bookmark piece using a retired Bigz die, but you can easily recreate this bookmark using either of the new Tag Topper punches!

To create the top of the bookmark, I stamped the images on Whisper White cardstock and then cut them out.  I also used the Hexagon punch to add a Real Red hexagon into the mix.  Then I just stuck them all together for a collage effect.

I hope this inspires you to create your own bookmark card!

In Color Club Bookmarks

Hi Stampers!

Just a quick post today!  Every year when the new annual catalog is released, I hold an In Color Club for my customers.  This is basically a very large product share.  For $25 a month every member gets a little bit of each consumable In Color product - ink, card stock, ribbons, embellishments, etc.  I throw in my own little perks as well, including a color chart in the first month and a card sample featuring that month's color.  This year I took my color chart idea from the Qbee's Quest blog.

I went to Staples and had them laminated so that they could also be used as bookmarks!

If you are interested in joining the In Color Club, send me an email and I will forward you more information.
