Mega Christmas Post!

Merry Christmas, Stampers!!!!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday!  This is my final holiday themed post for 2012.  I made it an extra good one!  I am featuring six projects today!!!!

First up, the ornaments made using the Ornamental Elegance kit that was offered for a limited time from  Stampin' Up!  These were so easy to put together.  The kit was wonderful!  Next time SU offers a kit like this you want to really take quick advantage of it!  They sold out so fast, but I know why.  They are just so beautiful!

Here it is on my tree!

This card was a case from a card I saw on Stampin' Connection, the demonstrator only message board and idea gallery.  It's one of the benefits of being a demonstrator!

Scentsational Seasons 3

Good morning Stampers!
It's Stamp a Stack day! Yaaaay!  I have five lovely ladies coming to my house today to stamp 15 Christmas cards.  The Stamp a Stacks are always a really popular event that I host.  I will be hosting another one in the new year that's themed.  Stay tuned for more details on that!  Interested in attending one of my classes?  You can click on the Class Schedule tab above for an up to date listing of classes.  If you want ADVANCED notice of classes, you can sign up for my newsletter.  Click this link and then click on "Request My Newsletter".

Now on to today's project!!  Here's a sweet little 3D card.

I made the Christmas tree pop up by stamping and die cutting three of the tree images.  Then you score and fold down the middle and glue together.  It's super easy to do.  One thing I have noticed with the Holiday Collection framelits is that the Christmas tree is not perfectly symmetrical.  I did a little minor trimming and then later decided to put a little glitter on the edges (not shown here) to hide the imperfections.

Stampin' Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Primrose Petals, Real Red, Snow Festival Designer Series Paper
Ink: Garden Green, Primrose Petals
Stamps: Scentsational Season, Greetings of the Season
Other: Holiday Collection Framelits, Decorative Label Punch, 1/8" Mini Brads in Silver, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals

Scentsational Season 2

Hi Stampers!
Well today I am off to Boston to go with my husband to a Stephen King lecture.  He lets me indulge in my hobby, so I have to allow him to indulge in his!  I'm excited to get to explore the town of Lowell while I'm there.  Before I go, I wanted to show off another card I made using the  Scentsational Season stamp set.  I got this idea from a card I received in a swap at the Rhode Island regional event.  Sadly, I cannot remember who it was that gave me the card.  It's such a cute idea and a fun way to use the mitten punch - to make oven mitts!
I used River Rock for the card base on this card and made it tri-fold.  I think River Rock is the color I use the least so it was nice to include it on a project like this!

Stampin' Supplies:
Cardstock: River Rock, Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White, Brushed Silver
DSP: Festival of Prints paper stack
Stamps: Scentsational Season, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Big Shot: Woodgrain Embossing folder, Holiday Collection Framelits
Mitten Builder Punch

When I get home from Boston, my Spring Catalog and Sale-a-bration pre-order should be here.  Get ready for some sneak peeks thrown into the mix of holiday projects!  I know how much you all love sneak peeks!

Scentsational Season Cocoa

Good Morning Stampers!
It's now the first week of December and I am ready to start posting some holiday projects!  For the next few posts I am going to be featuring one of my favorite sets from the Holiday catalog this year: Scentsational Season!  I just love all of the cute images and the fact that they can be cut out with the Big Shot using the Holiday collection of framelits.  Today I am showing a favor that I made for a class I held last month. It's an adorable (and easy to make) cocoa packet.  Wouldn't these make great stocking stuffers or a little something extra to attach to a gift???

Here's an image of the cocoa packet sliding out of the holder.  The trick is to use a long enough piece of ribbon to hold the packet like a sling.

Stampin' Supplies:
Cardstock: Whisper White, Island Indigo, Gumball Green
DSP: Snow Festival
Ink: Gumball Green, Illuminate
Framelits: Holiday Collection, Labels Collection
Other: Dimensionals, Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon
